This option will allow your users to access SmarterSends using your own domain name e.g. https://example.domain.com instead of https://example.smartersends.com.
There is some configuration required on your part in regards to setting up the DNS for the sub-domain. Check with your IT department for help setting up a new sub-domain in your DNS.
But you won't have to worry about adding SSL for the new sub-domain, we'll actually handle that part for you.
- Create a sub-domain on a domain you own and set it up as a CNAME pointing to custom-domain.smartersends.com
- Once that is complete, add the sub-domain as a new custom domain.
- We'll verify the DNS record is correct and begin provisioning a SSL certificate.
- Once we've confirmed the DNS and the SSL certificate, we'll configure you custom domain.
- Voila! You'll be able to access your instance using your custom domain name.
